Ben Franklin Speaks about Freemasonry

Warren Lodge #10 A.F. & A.M. is located in beautiful historic Jacksonville Oregon. The lodge building is the crown jewel of the towns historic district. Built in 1874 by Brother David Linn and financed by Brother C.C. Beekman and other brethren all while Brother Thomas G. Reames was the Lodges Worshipful Master, it stands today, lovingly cared for by the brethren who call it home.
Masonry has existed in the Rogue Valley since before the town of Jacksonville or the state of Oregon existed. The Lodge was chartered in 1855 when the town was called Table Rock City and it was in the Oregon Territory.
The name "Warren" comes from General Joseph Warren MD who was killed at the battle of Bunker Hill. He was a Harvard educated physician and much loved by his men. He was also the Grand Master of Masons of Connecticut at the time. It is rumored that had he not been killed at Bunker Hill he may well have been named Commander of the Continental Army instead of Brother George Washington.
Warren Lodge has been meeting continuously for 157 years.  Our monthly stated communications are held at 7:30 PM on the second Wednesday. We have an informal "Coffee" every Wednesday morning at 9:00 AM.
If you are a mason, please stop in for a meeting or a coffee. If you are not a mason, why not? Feel free to stop by during the Wednesday Coffee and we will show you our lodge and answer your questions to the best of our ability.
